Broadcasting a radio station's program over the Internet makes it much easier to monitor its schedule. Instead of standing in front of a radio receiver all day long, writing down the played songs or other details, you can let a specialized application monitor the broadcast and log the information you need. Besides monitoring multiple radio stations in parallel, Airplay Control can tell you if a specific song has been played or not. Furthermore, it lets you know which radio stations play your song, when and how many times.

The software's setup file is small and you can install its components in a few seconds, but you will not be able to run it with low end hardware. If you intend to monitor multiple radio stations at once, you will need a Dual Core processor, at 2.5 GHz and at least 2 GB of RAM.

Despite its advanced functionality, the application's interface is clean and simple and its options are easy to understand, even for beginners. Radio stations are added on the left half of the window and songs can be added on the right half. You can choose from thousands of online radio stations, from all over Europe. You just need to select a country and the software will start importing the radio stations from that country.

You can start monitoring a listed radio station, by right clicking its entry and selecting the appropriate option. Although the imported stations are categorized on separate tabs, according to their countries, you will still find a large number of stations on each tab. Monitored stations are listed on a different tab, regardless of their country. You just need to click one and you'll be able to listen to its broadcast.

If you import one or more audio files, on the right half of the interface, the software will log how many times the song has been played, on which stations and when. The number of plays is displayed in the song's entry, but you can right click it and select different options to generate and save reports, in PDF or XLS format. You can also bring up a report on your default web browser. Reports contain a wide range of information. You can see the number of weekly and total plays, the number of plays during the day or night, dates, times and more.

Pros

The software can tell you which radio stations played your song, when and how often. It supports all online radio stations from Europe and it lets you decide which ones to monitor. You can add any songs to the watch list, just by importing audio files.

Cons

The trial version shuts down automatically after three hours. Airplay Control's unique functionality enables you to monitor any online radio station and see who plays your favorite songs and when.
